Midland/Odessa Sockers FC traveled over to Tyler texas in what would end up being an overmatched blow-out as the Sockers FC dismantled Tyler FC 9-0. 

For the first 22 minutes, the score was still knotted at 0 until Maxilliano Galizzi scored the 1st of of his 3 goals in the 23rd minute.  Tyler FC did their best to hang on in the 1st half, until Galizzi broke through for his 2nd goal at the 38th minute the score was a managable 2-0 at half-time.

But in the 2nd half the onslaught would begin.  Galizzi got his 3rd goal of the game to start it off in the 52nd minute making it 3-0. 

Then it was Stefan Faria's turn, as he had fresh legs going into the 2nd half.  Faria would score the next 2 Sockers goals in the 57th and 61st minute of play, then later would complete a hat trick himself by scoring his 3rd in the 75th minute. 

Other goals contributed by the Sockers FC were by: Manuel Kaguoko in the 74th minute, Yuriy Sadula in the 81st, and Dylan Burke in the 87th minute. 

Though the Sockers FC clearly overmatched Tyler FC, this is a great victory as they travel to Shreveport FC, a team they could likely face in the LoneStar Division playoffs. 

This win currently boosts the Sockers FC in 3rd place in the division and a chance to host at least one playoff game in July. 

Next home game will be on June 23rd to take on the Dutch Lions which will be a pivotal matchup for playoff seedings.
