The Sockers FC and the Laredo Heat played to a 1-1 tie at Grande Communications Stadium this past Saturday Night.
The first half the Sockers FC came out aggressive as Byron Knowles found forward Tucker Hume for the first goal of the game in the 8th minute.
After the goal the Heat got more aggressive and finally broke threw the Socker defense in the 40th minute with a goal by Salvador Luna, assisted by Estebon Bayona.
The second half, was a defensive struggle on both sides. Even with Matt Barnes substituting fresh legs to wear down the Heat's defense. The goals just couldn't get in.
